Proceedings Report and Agenda Department

The Department of Proceedings Report and Agenda is a unit under the Parliamentary General Directorate. It comprises the area of proceedings report and agenda, the area of parliamentary information requests, and the area of auxiliary services.

The area of proceedings report and agenda is in charge of the following duties:

  • Preparation of the agendas for the Executive Council, the Plenary Assembly, the Permanent Assembly, the Board of Spokespersons, and the inauguration of the Bureau, and other solemn events.
  • Preparation of the enrolled bills.
  • Administration of the Digital System of Electronic Voting.
  • Drafting of the minutes of the Board of Spokespersons.

The area of parliamentary information requests is in charge of organizing, executing, supervising, and controlling the processes and activities concerning the drafting and delivery of official documents directed to Congress members, ministers, and other authorities of the public administration, in relation to agreements reached by the plenary assembly, the permanent assembly, the executive council, the board of spokespersons, and the bureau of the Congress of the Republic, as well as  the processing and statistics of the information requests and motions made by Congress members, and the information concerning the Question Times.
