Jesus Hurtado is a theologian, philosopher and clinical and organizational psychologist.   He was born on September 7, 1947 in Jauja, Peru.  He is married, has two children.

He worked and studied several years outside the country. When he returned to Peru lived the terrorist violence in Huancayo as evangelical pastor and student of the National University of Central Peru. He speaks Spanish, German, Portuguese and Spanish.

His life has been permanently dedicated to studies, investigation and education in Peru and outside.  His principal commitment through these activities has been helping people to improve and develop their quality of life in order to use their potential given by God.

He was candidate to Congress of the Republic of Peru by Junín Region, invited by the Fujimorista Group and was elected to 2011-2016 period.

Experience

• Consultant and lecturer national and international, in theology, organizational psychology and neuropsychology.
• Founder and director of evangelical seminaries and Bible schools in Junin, Cusco, Puno, and Amazonas Ancash departments of Peru.
• Promoter of radio and television programs in Peru and Germany for about 25 years.
• Evangelical Pastor, Baptist Churches of Jauja and Huancayo for 28 years
• Manager of Savings and Credit Cooperative “La Perla de los Andes PERLACOOP
• Teacher of basic education and high school and college in the country and in the exterior
• Religious training in the Dominican Order
• During his youth helped his family in the agricultural work in their own lands
